Easy healthy broccoli recipe?!

Put 1/2 cup water into a large pot!. Add 2-4 cups broccoli!. Cook on med-high heat covered until tender, yet firm!. Drain!. Cut lemon into wedges!. Squeeze 2-3 wedges over broccoli!. Stir if desired!.

Pasta Dish
The ingredients:
* olive oil
* penne pasta
* lemon
* Parmesan cheese
* butter
* fresh broccoli
* onion
* garlic
* chicken sausage

Start by putting a little olive oil in a pan & cooking the chicken sausage until browned!. Add some chopped onion (I added about half an onion) & a couple cloves of minced garlic, cook until fragrant & onions are translucent!. Meanwhile start cooking pasta til al dente & drain, set aside!. Next add some cut broccoli to the sausage mixture & cook until broccoli is slightly softened!. Add in a tablespoon or so of butter so add some creaminess to the mixture!. 1 1/3 cups Betty Crocker? Potato Buds? mashed potatoes (dry)
2 cups cut-up cooked chicken
2 cups shredded Swiss cheese (8 ounces)
2 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon lemon juice, bottled is fine
2 garlic cloves, minced or 1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1 teaspoon salt, adjust to your liking
Directions
1Microwave broccoli and water in covered bowl on high for 6 minutes or til crisp tender!.
2While it is cooking mix the rest of the ingredients together!.
3Drain cooked broccoli!.
4Pour lemon garlic mixture over broccoli and mix to coat!.
5If using fresh garlic cover the dish and let sit for about 2 minutes to allow heat from broccoli to "cook" and remove the raw taste from the garlic!.
6If using garlic powder you are ready to serve

Roasted Garlic Lemon Broccoli
INGREDIENTS
2 heads broccoli, separated into florets
2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C)!.
In a large bowl, toss broccoli florets with the extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, pepper and garlic!. Spread the broccoli out in an even layer on a baking sheet!.
Bake in the preheated oven until florets are tender enough to pierce the stems with a fork, 15 to 20 minutes!. Remove and transfer to a serving platter!. Squeeze lemon juice liberally over the broccoli before serving for a refreshing, tangy finish!. serves 6

INGREDIENTS
1 pound spaghetti
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 teaspoon poppy seeds
2 teaspoons seasoning salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 cucumber, chopped
1 red onion, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 orange bell pepper, chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 head fresh broccoli, chopped
1 (16 ounce) bottle Italian-style salad dressing
DIRECTIONS
Cook spaghetti in a large pot with boiling salted water!. Rinse with cool water, drain!.
Place grated Parmesan cheese, sesame and poppy seeds, seasoning salt, paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, cayenne pepper, chopped cucumber, onion, red and yellow pepper, tomatoes, and broccoli in a large bowl!.
To large bowl add cooled pasta!. Pour entire bottle of Italian dressing over pasta and vegetables!. Mix well!.
Refrigerate pasta salad for at least 2 hours!. Serves 12

1/3 cup butter
1 tablespoon brown sugar
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons white vinegar
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup chopped salted cashews
DIRECTIONS
Place the broccoli into a large pot with about 1 inch of water in the bottom!. Bring to a boil, and cook for 7 minutes, or until tender but still crisp!. Drain, and arrange broccoli on a serving platter!.

I chop up the broccolets parts & put them in a bowl with some chopped cauliflower & put some onion in & some mayonnaise, add a little vinegar!.!.!.You can also add some craisens (cranberry raisins) it is probably going to taste better the next day Oh, I put some sugar in it & mix it up well!.or you can take some purple seedless grapes & but them in half & add themWww@FoodAQ@Com
I would cook it, add cooked carrots, cauliflower and maybe some peas, mix with melted cheese and eat!. Sounds foul, but a good way of using leftover vegetables, (I'm a student, we have to find some way of using them!) and tastes nice!.
