If i make cookie dough without baking soda, and brown sugar, and vanilla extract, will they still taste good?!

So, If you want cookies and don't have or don't want to use those ingredients !.!.!. then consider another recipe!
Here's a recipe that doesn't require brown sugar, vanilla or soda!.!.!. or baking, but still sounds yummy! :-)

1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon butter
4 cups oats (uncooked)
2 cups peanut butter
Bring the sugar, milk, cocoa and butter to a rapid boil for one minute, then add peanut butter and oats until the mixture thickens!. Drop the mixture by the spoonful onto waxed paper
Let set until firm!.
It's important that you get the mixture out of the pan as fast as possible or it may harden in the pan!.
Makes 10 cookies (depending on size)!.
