Chopped, fried bacon is really great in pasta sauces or in soups and stews!. It's one of my favorite things to use for the meat in sauces and soups because it has a strong "meaty" flavor and a little bit goes a long way!. In these troubled economic times, bacon is cheap and a little bit in a potato cheese or cream of broccoli soup makes for a very hearty soup that really tastes like there's a lot of meat in there!. The same thing for pasta sauces!. There's nothing like a little bit of bacon in a marinara or alfredo sauce to make it taste nice and meaty without adding a lot of ground meat or chunks of ham!. Give it a try!.

Have you ever had pineapple chunks wrapped in bacon and broiled!? That's one of my favorite appetizers!. Mmmmm! Just wrap a chunk of pineapple in half a slice of bacon, stick a toothpick in it to hold it together & put it in a pan in the bottom of the oven on broil for 5-10 minutes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

ground pepper
