Question: What type of mustard goes best with a ham & cheese sandwich!?

honey mustard is always a good choice!. especially if you use swiss cheese Www@FoodAQ@Com

Thanks for clarifying on the swiss!.!.!.but I still say it would depend on what kind of ham, and what kind of bread!. For example, smoked ham on sourdough is entirely different from honey-baked ham on whole wheat!.

Not knowing all of the details, I'd have to pick a sweet & hot, or perhaps a Russian mustard!. That usually works with just about any combo!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

To me, it doesn't matter what kind of bread, cheese, ham!.!.!.!. it's all good!.

I really like Goulden's Brown!.!.!.!. this is good on just plain cheese sandwiches as well, or if you have a cheese and cracker tray out, I always have the mustard out -YUM!Www@FoodAQ@Com

A spicy mustard like Grey Poupon would compliment the savory taste of ham/cheese with a nice tangy bite and be very delicious especially with the woody taste of wheat bread!.!.!.if that's what you're using!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I like Grey Poupon!. Is it just basic ham and basic cheese!? If not, you might want to go with a fancier mustard from the same country as the ham!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

a whole grain english mustard!.!.!.!.on everythng its amazing!Www@FoodAQ@Com

My favorite mustard is Sierra Nevada Stout Mustard, it has the course grains and is delicious! Yummmmmm!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
