Have tried various things: frozen peas - add a touch of sweetness or/and sweetcorn; a little tomatoe puree; of course various brand stock cubes; have topped with cheese and with dif flavored crisps i!.e!. cheese and onion, beef & inion and plain crisps; have also added a tine of baked beans to the meat!.!.!.

Shepherds Pie is a bit like soup making it's an art form not a precise science!. Some other great ideas here!. Happy cooking and eating!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I just prepare my usual savoury mince!. Fry off onions and diced carrots, brown the mince, pour into a pan with 2 beef stock cubes and enough water to cover!. Bring to the boil, then simmer gently for 50 mins, stirring occasionally!. Add Bisto to the mince and stir for a few minutes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

when i make it i add bay leafs red wine chicken stock mushrooms carrots onion, leek and some chopped garlic but its down to each preference how much of each you use, try adding mixed herbs, and a splash of hendersons relishWww@FoodAQ@Com

Believe it or not, I like to add A1 steak sauce and worchestershire sauce to mine, along with all the other seasonings like salt and pepper and seasoning salt!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i like Worcestershire and roasted garlic!.all you do is coat your whole garlic bulb in olive oil and wrap in foil and bake in a 250 degree oven for 20 minutes!.let cool and squeeze all the garlic outWww@FoodAQ@Com

I like to keep my shepherds pie simple but I do add garlic and chopped celery leaves for a bit of extra flavour!. I sometimes add some wine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
