Answers:
you can mix things in like nuts chocolate m&ms and so on!. also you can back it in two small pans the same size and then put strawberrries in the middle or anything you want!. be creative!. I have made so many cakes that tasted great from looking around getting an idea and going for it!. Remember cooking is not to be exact but to be your self!. and if your screw up OH WELL throw it out eat cereal and remember what you did to try again next time!. I have thrown out complete meals cause an idea I had did not work right!. but it taught me what not to do the next time and it was better!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can try this recipe for chocolate chip cookie bars that uses yellow cake mix:

2 eggs
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/4 cup water
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375 degrees and grease a 13x9 inch cake pan!. Mix all the ingredients except the chocolate chips and beat with a mixer for 2 minutes or until smooth!. Stir in the chocolate chips!. Spread into the cake pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, until lightly browned on top!. Remove from heat and cool in the pan for 10 minutes!. Cut into bars and remove from pan!.

They're very good with a cake-like consistency!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Add pineapple juice to the recipe instead of water and use this as a filling:

1/2 cup crushed walnuts
1/4 cups pineapple smashed (you can do this in a blender)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 regular pack vanilla pudding
1 1/2 cups milk

It's delicious as a filling!. Frost cake instead of ice it with a vanilla icing and decorate with cherries!

by adding fruit to the mix!.!.!. or just going fancy on your decorating (topping) is the only thing i would suggest!.

I love yellow cake!. I like to put it in two small round pans and then when they have cooled off i put frosting through the middle and make it a layered cake!. (i would try to bake the cake normally first)

I love cake!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If this is your first cake, don't add anything!. You need to see what a plain cake is like before you start upgrading; you'll know what you're working with when you make your next cake!.

Okay!. if you must, add 2 smashed over-ripe mushy bananas and 1 teaspoon baking soda to the batter!. The cake will taste really rich!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Mix the cake mix before you add anything to make it extremely fine and smooth for a softer cake!. then add the other ingrediants!

Chocolate icing is the best paring for a yellow cake, if you ask me!.

Yummy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Add crushed pineapple to the batter and decrease the water amount by 2 tsp!. This will be sooooooooo good trust me! if you don't like pineapple than you can always pick another fruit!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

just follow the directions dont get carried away for your first cake you'll just be dissapointedWww@FoodAQ@Com
