Yes, but wouldn't it be better just to hook up an IV bag of elmers glue!? Butter although not the healthiest thing to be eating, is at least a natural product relatively speaking - the human body has some idea what to do with it!. Butter flavored crisco is a highly processed amalgamation of artificial and natural garbage that, although won't kill you today, it is so much worse for you than butter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Crisco, in general has a higher melting point than butter!. Meaning it turns to liquid at a hotter temperature than butter!. It may be ok to make the substitution since it is the fat in your waffle recipe!. I've also used vegetable oil and bacon grease for waffles and they've all turned out ok but not as nice as using butter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes, it's practically just margarine, their might be a little more fat in it, but i think it should turn out alrightWww@FoodAQ@Com
