I have a question about a reciepe I am making for dinner tonight?!
I am making sauteed chicken breasts with a mustard and cream sauce for dinner tonight The receipe calls for dry white wine and all I have is a sweet white wine!. Will this work the same or is there something I can do to offset the sweet taste of the wine to make it more dry like or do you think that it won't make that much of a difference in the reciepe!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You don't have to use wine if you don't want to, or don't have it!. You can use water or stock - it won't be as flavorful, but it will still taste good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I don't think it will make much of a difference!. If your recipe calls for any honey or other sweetener then you may want to cut back on that a bit!. You may also want to add a touch of acid to brighten the flavor!. Something like a squeeze of lemon or a teaspoon of red wine vinegar!.
I tend not to follow recipes exactly!. I'll add a dash of this and a squeeze of that until I like the taste!. !. !.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you could use vermouth if you have it or substitute chicken or beef broth for the wine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Sweet white wine is not really that sweet!. Use it anyway -- might be better!!!
