What do you prefer to cook with: gas or electric stoves?!

Question: What do you prefer to cook with: gas or electric stoves!?
Answers:
I have electric and I hate it!. I love gas better!. At least when you turn off a gas stove or turn it down it stops cooking!. Electric takes forever to cool down!. I have to move the dish to a burner that is off if it gets too hot!. My next stove will be definitely be gas!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I prefer gas stoves because they are more responsive thus better control!. For stir-frying or other similar cooking techniques where high heat for a short time is called for, a gas stove is the only choice!.

also, it is typically cheaper to use natural gas to cook than electricity!.

I prefer a gas stove!. I find I can control the temperature a lot better with gas rather than electric!. It is probably easier to clean an electric stove, but I am more interested in the quality of the food being cooked than the mess that can occur!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

electric cooking isn't always even and harder to control temps!.
