Can I bake and then pan fry chicken!? I am baking 2 chicken breasts with ginger and garlic and lime!. I want it to be real moist!. Is this a good idea!? Your thoughts!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

The other answers touched on what you should do!. The best thing is to get a nice hot pan with oil of your choice (I would use olive oil), then simply seal the chicken quickly, maybe 30-40 seconds on each side, then transfer the chicken into the oven!. Due to the fact you sealed the chicken all the juices will remain inside whilst it is being cooked through in the oven!. Happy cooking!Www@FoodAQ@Com
The traditional method is to pan-fry first then bake!.
You can put the ginger & garlic in the oil to get the flavour!.
Before that marinate the meat in lime juice & zest!.
Pan-frying will sear the juices in & prevent drying!.

I would actually do it the other way around!. Pan fry them but do not cook all the way!. Then pop in the oven for a little bit!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
