I need help from someone who can cook good mexican food please, can you help?!
Before I left for work, 5 hours ago, I put a pork roast in the crockpot with some taco seasoning to make pork tacos!. Usually, I do it for 12 hours on low, but!.!.!. in my foolishness, I set it to 5 hours on high, thinking it would be done sooner that way!.
Well!.!.!. I thoroughly burnt the outside of it, although the inside is fine, just a LITTLE bit dry!. The only problem is that the seasonings had to be scraped off the outside since it was burnt, and that was my last packet of taco seasoning! I have a lot of seasonings of my own, but I've never been good at making spicy mexican tasting sauces!. What do I mix into it for taco seasoning!? And also, is there anything I can put with it to make it a bit less dry!?
Thanks SOOO much!Www@FoodAQ@Com

garlic
salt
pepper
cumin
cilantro
red pepper flake
cayenne pepper
Once you taste, start adding any of the spices, a little at a time, until you get the flavor you desire!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The only trick I've heard of to moisten meat is to put a small amount in the microwave next to a bowl of water, but I'm not sure whether that actually works or not!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
