Why should you keep a fire extinguisher handy when making the classic dessert crepes flambé de l’orange?!

Question: Why should you keep a fire extinguisher handy when making the classic dessert crepes flambé de l’orange!?
Answers:
Flambé is French for "flamed"!. I keep a fire extinguisher handy in my kitchen all the time!. But, when you flambé a dish, it's especially dangerous because you're dealing with a liquid that's on fire!.

Remember, never carry a dish while it's flaming!Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's a good idea to have one handy in the kitchen as you never know what may happen especially when having flambes with are lit! I think some people are paranoid when you have to use a naked flame on a dessert!. I'm sure you will be fine making them!.

A lot of people try to put out fires with water but plain flour and extinguishers to the job!. Water may aggreviate the situation!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Unless you're prone to destruction and really dodgy around fire, I wouldn't see it that necessary to have a fire extinguisher on hand or in close proximity!.

Maybe people like that shouldn't have any business making things like that lol !.!.!. Isn't it creme brule (however you spell it), by the way!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just because you asked lets me know you definately need one!. anytime you are cooking you should have one handy, just in case you need to use it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
