dump the old grease, clean out sludge!. Wash with soap and water, rinse and dry thoroughly and refill!.
My simple answer is false, too many time wastefull steps that are un-needed No reason to boil once, much less twice!. energy wastefull!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

basically its true!. that's how we did it at the fast food place i used to work at!. but between steps 3 and 4 we used to have to take a 3m pad and scrub out under the burners of the tub !.Www@FoodAQ@Com
