What's the best way to heat up flour tortillas (in bulk for a fajita party?)?!

Question: What's the best way to heat up flour tortillas (in bulk for a fajita party!?)!?
I'm putting out a fajita buffet for about 50 people!. What is the best way to heat up lots of tortillas at once time, and keep them warm on the buffet!?

Thank you!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Are you going to be using chaffers (warmers) on the buffet!? If so just have an extra one, set it up normally with hot water in the chaffer, sterno underneath, then place some slightly damp clean towels/napkins in the bottom of the half pan that sets inside the chaffer!. You can microwave your tortillas or warm in an oven for a bit wrapped in a dampened towel or foil (in oven) or you can simply layer them into the half pan cover them with some more clean towels/napkins to cover them (help to keep them from drying out) and let them sit while your setting out the rest of your buffet!. If not, the methods of the people above should work well!. Both methods have limitations since the tortillas will only stay warm for a limited time with these methods!. You'll have to time bringing them out so they remain warm over the course of your serving time!. Good luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you can I wouldn't heat them all at once!. Maybe go with the oven method and put 20 in a package ( I agree that you will need around 100-150 tortilla's depending on the size) Put a new package in the oven every 10-15 minutes so that they aren't all heated and ready at once then start getting cold or dried out or soggy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

microwave 10 at a time, fanned out on a paper plate for about 30 seconds!. then put them in a tortilla warmer!. you can get them at most grocery stores (the foam ones anyway) for less than $2!. have fun!Www@FoodAQ@Com

For that many people you're gonna need 150 or so tortillas, I'd wrap them in foil, in stacks of about 20, then put them in a 200 degree oven for about 45 minutes or so!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

wrap them all up in foil then put the whole stack in the oven to heat up!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Wrap them in foil and put them on the grill!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
