How to cook beef spare ribs?!

Question: How to cook beef spare ribs!?
I want to try boiling ribs but I have no idea how long to boil them!. I usually cook pork ribs because they have less fat but I have these beef ribs that are just sitting in my freezer so I want to boil them to get rid of the fat!. I have never cooked ribs on the grill so I thought I would give that a try!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Bon Appetit recommends parboiling PORK ribs, and preroasting BEEF ribs!. Dredge them in flour, paprika, garlic salt & pepper and roast at 375 for about 45 min!. That will get rid of most of the fat!. Then use a dry rub of chili powder, paprika, cumin, salt & pepper and grill them!. You can baste with BBQ sauce that last 5-10 minutes before they're done!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Don't boil them! It makes them rubbery and curls them off the bone!. Just cook them low and slow on the grill and the fat will render out!. Put the heat on just one side of the grill and the ribs over the cool side!. Ideally it should be between 250 and 300 degrees!. You can wrap the ribs in foil if you like for a couple of hours, then take them out of the foil and cook for another hour or two until they're crispy on the outside!. If you want to sauce them, you can!. Or you can just use a rub!. But they'll be good with just salt and pepper, too!. If they're the consistency you like but not yet crisp on the outside (if you started them in foil), you can always crank up the fire and brown them on a hot grillWww@FoodAQ@Com
