Question: A recipe says to use 3 cups of COOKED pasta!.!.!. what would this measurement be uncooked!?!!?!!?
Answers:
pasta will expand and not quite double in size so in case u need 3 cups of cooked u will use like 1 and a half uncooked xx Www@FoodAQ@Com

Pasta usually doubles in size!. The best bet to be sure is to measure out at least 2 cups of uncooked pasta and cook it!. You may have some leftovers but pasta is cheap and you can use the leftovers in another recipe perhaps!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Pasta will increase in volume about 2!.5 to 3 times when cooked!. One cup of pasta = 2!.5 to 3 cups of cooked pasta!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

the side of the box should tell you a serving size and how much it equals in either ml or oz once cooked!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I didn't think pasta changed in size, only rice doubles!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would try 1 1/2 cups!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My guess would be about 1 cup of uncooked!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

No one cup should do the trickWww@FoodAQ@Com
