when you get cookies at the stores, some of them are made to stay soft, how do they do that!?

While others are hard and crunchy!?

There are ingredients like molasses that will help!.!.and tips like storing with plain white bread or a slice of fresh apple!.!.!.!.for a home bakers!.

One of the things that commercial, large-batch bakers do (think Keebler, etc!.) is include coconut in the recipe!. It gives the feeling of moistness, often without much additional taste!.

Do not over mix the dough or use too much flour!.

It really depends on the recipe and how long they are baked!. To cook a soft baked cookie, remove the cookie sheet from the oven when the cookies look done on the top and are not at all brown around the sides!. Leave the cookie sheet on top of the stove for 8-9 minutes to finish baking!. This will create a moister cookie!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well you can do it a couple of ways!. The time you cook a cookie can determine the crunchyness!. You can also add alot of whipped butter to make cookies softer and less butter for harder cookies!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Its the amount of time you bake them for ( if you want to make them from home) !. IF you want them soft not crunchy try baking them for 10 Min's instead of the normal 13-17 Min's!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

its just the mixture and how long there cooked for the soft ones are cookie dough but the crunchie ones are a dryer miture that are cooked longerWww@FoodAQ@Com

they put SO MUCH preservatives in them that they taste like nasty butt, the hard crunchy ones may be kinda hard to shew, but at least they don't taste like baboon butt!Www@FoodAQ@Com
