One of my husbands' favorite is Grilled Rib eye, marinate with your own favorites or you can just buy steak marinate, at least a couple hours so it's really in there, asparagus with a nice hollandaise, baked potato with sour cream and chives, portebello mushrooms sauteed with balsamic vinegar for the steak topper!. I start with shrimp cocktail and a small caesar salad!. Then for desert you can make pavlova!. The quick and easy version of it is buy an angel food cake, a bag of frozen medley fruit, frozen strawberries and frozen blueberries, thaw all fruit and "maserate with about 1/2 cup of sugar until nice and juicy!. Get cool whip and generously top angel food cake heap it on there, but do spread it out, then carefully mound your fruit mixture on top, let it all go through the middle and drizzle down the sides!. It's an absolute beautiful desert and he will think you slaved all day !.!.!. for all of it actually!. But none of it takes long at all!. Hope you try it!. All very nice blends of flavor, then you can add your romantic flavor from there!! Have a great time!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Stick with comfort foods that you are familiar with!. Now is not the time to experiment with something french or way out there, ya know!? Besides, he will be able to associate you with the comfort food, then!.

Go with your family recipe for meatloaf, with oven roasted potatoes!. Add some color with carrots and let them roast right along the side of the meatloaf!. Make a white grape juice sorbet for dessert or buy some Italian Ice at the grocery store and put it in attractive individual serving dishes!. ;-)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cook boneless skinless chicken breasts in a skillet with a little oil about 4 minutes per side on medium heat!. Add one chopped onion, cook briefly and add 1 cup of chicken broth!. Cook about 3 minutes then add one jar of spaghetti sauce!. Turn heat to low, cover and let simmer until chicken is done, approximately 20 minutes!. Meanwhile, cook some spaghetti following directions on the box!. Drain the pasta and serve the chicken and sauce over the pasta!. Add some bagged salad and Italian bread and there’s a meal!.

Feeling more energetic!? Dip the chicken in beaten egg and roll in a Parmesan cheese & bread crumb mixture before frying and call it Chicken Parmigiana!.
