Answers:
For breakfast my little cousins would love when I would make them scrambled eggs with or without cheese whichever they prefer & then Id place it on crackers so they can just pick it up & eat it

Kids also love making home made pizza so you can let her help you roll the premade dough out & then let her help you spread the sauce & cheese!.!.home made pizza its always good & the right way to go,you can also try making mini pizzas like 2 for each of you! that could be fun

For sandwiches you can let her help make her favorite & you can both pick out shapes & cut your sandwiches into them

For some good snacks you can always have cupcakes & twinkies around but only ocassionally like as a midnight snack!.!.the rest of the day you can give her things like grapes & baby carrots with ranch or maybe some cheeze its/crackers

Fun things you can do is buy some things to make sundays & you can each decorate your own,she can also help you bake cupcakes =)

I hope I helped you out some what!! Take careWww@FoodAQ@Com

RISSOLES:

500gms minced meat
1 medium onion (finely diced)
1 medium carrot (grated)
1 medium zucchini (grated)
2 eggs
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
2 tbs tomato paste
salt and pepper (but not too much salt when cooking for kids)

Combine all raw ingredients into a large bowl!. Mix well with hands (this is where your little girl comes in :)) Roll balls and flatten a little!. Heat a pan with a little olive oil!. Start the rissoles off in the hot pan to get some colour and then put in a preheated 200 degree oven for 15mins or until cooked through!. Serve with a garden salad (also fun for her to help make) or mashed potato!.

My kids loved to make rice krispy treats, I would do all the heating and pouring of the goo then they would do the rest!. The hardest part for them was waiting for it to cool!.!.!.!.Is it done yet!.!.!.!.is it done yet!.!.!.!.etc!.!.!.

also make a bunch of butter cookies and have them help by cutting the dough with cookie cutters and decorating them with colored frosting and sprinkles and such!.

At five years old kids are pretty sharp and eager to learn and help, so pretty much anything in the prep part of a recipe will get them excited, from mixing with a spoon to measuring with a cup, or have her prepare grilled cheese sandwiches for you to fry, it doesn't take much!. Buy a manual egg timer and show her how to set it, kids love anticipation!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
