Answers:
First cook up the bacon, onions and mushrooms!. I would go with regular onions but you do a mix of them!. Set aside!. Make sure the tomatoe isn't cold from the fridge or anything!.

Then make the omlet:

Whisk together the eggs with a little milk or water, your choice but just a quick splash!. Or put them in the blender for a really light and fluffy omlet!.

Heat a medium sized pan on hi!. Add butter, olive oil what ever fat you want to use!. When the pan and oil are heated pour in the egg!. Immedietly reduce the heat to medium low!.

Using a spatula (I like the rubber ones best for this part) slowly scrape the edges in!. The runny egg will fill in, in the "wake"!. Work your way around the pan until there is no more super runny egg!. It will still have a bit of a wet and undercooked look to it though!.

Add the toppings and cheese, using a nice wide and firm spatula fold the omlet in half!. Turn off the heat and leave for about 30 seconds, flip over and let the omlet cook on residual heat for another 30-45 seconds!. Slide out of the pan and if you are serving it to someone else then top with a little more cheese, and 1 piece of each of the toppings so that it is obvious what is inside

Spring onion will work just fine but the onion flavor will be mild!. If you were to use a regular onion, you would dice the onion, dice the bacon, dice the tomatoes, quarter or slice the mushrooms, beat the eggs!. Place the bacon in the skillet and cook until some of the grease comes out!. Then add the onions and mushrooms and saute until the mushrooms have cooked down a little and the bacon has rendered most of it's grease!. Drain the grease and set the mixture aside!. Clean the skillet and pour in a little melted butter!. Heat the butter and when the pan is hot again add the eggs and allow them to set for about 2-3 minutes!. Then, with a spoon, pull the edges into the center while you turn the pan to allow the runny part on the top to go onto the pan underneath the part you just moved!. Keep doing that until there is no longer a lot of runny on the top!. Then place the skillet with the egg under the broiler and broil just until it is no longer shiny on top!. Then place back on the burner for 2 minutes to reheat and remove the steam on the bottom!. Then place the cooked mixture, the cheese and tomatoes over 1/2 of the egg!. Fold it over and sprinkle the top with more grated cheese!. Serve!. Very simple!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If it doesn't say more specifically, the call for onions is for yellow onions!. But don't let that intimidate you!. Spring onions will give it a different flavor, especially if you use the green parts, too, but it will still be good!. Just not as oniony!.
If you use regular onions, they should be sauteed first, at least until they are transparent, but Iike them caramelized, which can take half an hour of slow cooking!.
My personal preference is for the mushrooms to be sauteed, too, but many people like raw mushrooms!. I see them mostly on salads, though!.
Obviously, the bacon needs to be cooked ahead!.
I'll link you up with my basic French Omelette guidelines!. Omelettes are great, quick meals and just beg for your creativity in using different ingredients or bits of leftovers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
