How do i make homeade cornbread stuffing?!
Answers:
Bake two 8 x 8 pans of cornbread from your favorite recipe!. Cool completely and break into small pieces!.
Tear or crumble 8 slices of white bread and allow it to sit out only long enough to dry it slightly!.
Put breads in a large mixing bowl!.
Add the following:
1 cup white onions, chopped
1 cup chopped celery
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1 teaspoon sage
1 teaspoon salt
? teaspoon black pepper
? cup butter
4 beaten eggs
8 to10 cups vegetable broth
Toss the ingredients together until all bread is dampened but not mushy!. More or less broth may be added to combine the ingredients!.
When ready to bake, heat oven to 400o F!. Place casserole dish in the hot oven and bake for one hour!. Remove the foil and return to the oven for about 10 minutes longer to brown!.

1 (8 ounce) can cream-style corn
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup butter
1 onion, finely chopped
2 celery, finely chopped
1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried basil
2 teaspoons dried oregano
2 teaspoons salt, or to taste
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
3 cups chicken broth
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C)!. Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish!.
In a medium bowl combine muffin mix, corn, eggs, yogurt and milk; stir just until moistened!. Pour into prepared pan!.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until golden brown!.
Meanwhile, in a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and saute onion, celery, green pepper and garlic!. When onions are tender stir in thyme, basil, oregano, salt, pepper, cayenne and broth!. Bring to a boil and then remove from heat!.

2 c!. cranberries, fresh or frozen, thawed if frozen
1 c!. water
1/2 c!. sugar
1 lb!. sausage meat
8 c!. crumbled cornbread (homemade or store bought cornbread
2 lg!. red Delicious apples, pared, cored & sliced (about 3 c!.)
2 med!. size celery stalks, diced (1/2 c!.)
1 med!. size onion, finely chopped (1/2 c!.)
1/4 c!. chopped parsley
2 tsp!. leaf thyme, crumbled
2 tsp!. leaf marjoram, crumbled
1/2 tsp!. salt
1/4 tsp!. pepper
Combine cranberries, water and sugar in medium size saucepan!. Bring to boiling!. Lower heat; simmer 10 minutes!. Drain well!. Transfer to large bowl!.
Saute sausage in medium size skillet, breaking up into small pieces with wooden spoon, until lightly browned and no longer pink, about 5 minutes!. Drain excess fat!. Combine with cranberries in bowl!.
Add cornbread, apples, celery, onion and seasonings to cranberry sausage mixture; toss gently to mix!.
Stuff turkey and roast according to your favorite recipes!. Or, spoon stuffing into greased, shallow 4 1/2 quart baking dish!. You can make it 100 different ways!. I would:
chop 2 pieces of celery and 1 small onion, dice finely
4 T butter
1 tsp!. sage
dash cinnamon
Sautee these ingredients over low/medium heat for about 8 mins!.
Break up 2 pans of your favorite corn bread
Salt and Pepper the bread
Pour celery mixture over the bread and combine
Brown some sage sausage and crumble into bread mix!.
Mix well!.
Add in 1/2 can chicken stock and 1 egg and mixe to combine!.
Bake in 350 degee oven for about 35 mins!.
