You have to turn down the heat and let the outside cook first!. Flip it fairly often!. Once it seems slightly brown on the outside, jack up the heat to high and let it finish cooking the outsides till it's brown!. Always add oil, parsley, garlic and lots of good coating around it and you should be fine!. I used to make Tilapia mush too till I just let it cook on medium first!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I don't fry it; I bake it!. I wash it and dredge in crushed tortillas (and a little flour), with a little Creole seasoning, salt, pepper, chili powder, garlic salt & cumin!. Then I put it on a baking sheet lined with foil; rubbed with olive oil; and drizzle some olive oil over the fish!. Bake it at 375-400 for about 20 min!.!.!.!.!.!.You can flip it halfway through to brown it on both sides!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
get some panko (japanese breadcrumbs) and crack and beat an egg with a splash of milk!. dip the fish in the egg first, then the panko!. then fry!. your fish will come out golden brown with a nice crunch!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
