Soup! I make a vegetable soup with butternut squash, a turnip, about 4 sticks of celery, 4 carrots, a tomato and a large potato!. Boil them all up, remove the vegetables from the water (but keep the water) and blitz them, then add the blended veg back to the water and add a stock cube (vegetable or chicken), salt and pepper, and I add some vermicelli noodles and chick peas and cook on the hob!. Et voila, lol!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Slice it into two pieces lengthwise, remove the seeds, place cut side up, add a little water to your pan, bake in the oven on 350 degrees for about 30 minutes!. Remove it from the oven, drain water off, and cover it with butter, sugar and cinnamon and return it to the oven and bake until the tenderness you desire (about another 20 minutes)!. Makes butternut squash really yummy! Www@FoodAQ@Com

mmm yummy best thing I've found is roasted - cut into wedges and drizzle with olive oil and roast in the oven until soft and slightly brown on the edges, you can either eat it like this or skin and use in a soup with chicken stock and potatoes -Www@FoodAQ@Com

Chop it into chunks, remove the skin and steam until soft!.
Mash with plenty of fresh black pepper!.
