Answers:
You definitely can!
You'll need a large pot with a lid (both oven safe)
You can start the roast on the stove and put it in the oven (on low heat) for several hours!.
Make sure you include enough liquid!
Here's a great recipe!.!.!.

Do you have a raosting pan!? Or a heavy pot that has a lid (that is oven safe) or tin foil for the top!.

Bake in the oven at 350 for a couple of hours until medium rare!. Salt and pepper the roast add a little worcestershire sauce and seasoned salt if deisred!. I liuke to put just a little tiny bit of water in the bottom (about 1/2 cup) just enough to cover the bottom of the pan!.

Or if you like it cooked all the way thru like a crockpot roast, then cook it on low about 250 for all day!. Just check it to make sure it's not dried out!.

Don't cook it all day on the stove though!. also DO NOT microwave it like the answer after mine suggests!. Never cook meat in the microwave!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can do it either on your stove top or your oven!.

If you want to do it on your stove top, brown on high the meat first on all sides to give it a good color!. Add about a cup of liquid (beef broth, red wine or water) to the roast and cover tightly!. (I have even gone so far as to put a strip of foil around the edges of the pot!. Turn down to low and simmer!.

It should take about two hours or so to cook!. Take pot roast out and let it sit for about half an hour (you can use that time to cook potatoes, onions and carrots in the broth/wine) and then slice and serve!. YUM!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I like to do it best in the oven!. The easiest way is with 1 can of cream soup (mushroom, celery, broccoli) and 1 package of dry onion soup!. Line a big pan in foil and put half of each soup on the bottom; put the roast on top; then the rest of the soups!. Seal tightly with foil and slow-bake at 250-300 for 6-8 hours (depending on size)!. You can open the foil and stick in cut-up potatoes, celery, carrots if you want, a couple of hours before it's done; then reseal tightly again!.!.!.!.!.!.a 2 lb!. roast may only take 5-6 hours!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sure, just use a large pot with a lid!. Season the roast and add water and vegetables!. Bring to a boil, then simmer it on a med/low setting all day!. Be sure to check the amount of liquid in the pot from time to time, make sure it doesn't cook dry!.

My mother used to use roundsteak like this, it was always very good!.

I always use a meat thermometer to make sure the meat is done!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I make pot roast only in the oven sealed with aluminum foil with potatoes, onions, carrots and what all you want, add water, whatever spices or herbs put it in the oven about 200 and leave it for several hours!. By the time you get it out it will fall off the bones!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, my mother did it every Sunday when I was growing up!. She did it in the oven 350 for about an hour!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could try microwaving the roast, im no chef so I do not know how it will turn out!! Good LuckWww@FoodAQ@Com
