Country ribs Dinner with Cream Gravy and Noodles!.:

Put the ribs in a large pot, frozen is fine!. Put in about 1 small handful of Pickling Spice!. Cover with water, and bring to a boil, then simmer for about 3/4 hour!.!.!.the ribs should be very tender!.
Drain!. Salt and pepper the ribs, then brown them in a heavy, perhaps cast iron, skillet, with butter!. Cover, lower heat, and let them cook slowly , slowly, with some onions and garlic!. Everything should caramelize, and the juices should combine in the bottom of the pan!. Remove to a hot platter, keep warm in the oven!.
You will make a gravy out of a flour and water slurry, and the renderings in the pan, cooking the noodles in a separate pot of water!.
Season the gravy with salt and pepper, and a little heavy cream!.!.
We always have our ribs bbq with rice, but this reminds me of the mennonite food my grandma used to do for us!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

We always boil baby back pork ribs!. After it's been in there for about an hour we put it in some foil in a pan and put bbq sauce on it!. You could put it on the grill but it's easier to just control the temp in the oven!. You cover and you'll have fall off the bone ribs!.
