I couldn't find my favorite recipe, but this is my second favorite!.!.!.

2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni (an 8-ounce box isn't quite 2 cups)
4 tablespoons (1/2 stuck) butter, cut into pieces
2 1/2 cups (about 10 ounces) grated sharp Cheddar cheese
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup sour cream
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can condensed Cheddar cheese soup
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup whole milk
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Boil the macaroni in a 2 quart saucepan in plenty of water until tender, about 7 minutes!. Drain!. In a medium saucepan, mix butter and cheese!. Stir until the cheese melts!. In a slow cooker, combine cheese/butter mixture and add the eggs, sour cream, soup, salt, milk, mustard and pepper and stir well!. Then add drained macaroni and stir again!. Set the slow cooker on low setting and cook for 3 hours, stirring occasionally!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

1 box velveeta, shredded with a grater or chunked small
3 cups heavy cream
1 package cream cheese
1 tsp!. garlic powder
Salt and Pepper
Dijon Mustard (optional)
--Any pasta - penne, macaroni, shells

Heat all of the heavy cream in a sauce pan with garlic powder, salt and pepper until it is a low simmer!. Add in the package of cream cheese a little at a time until combined on medium heat!. Add in 1/2 tsp!. dijon mustard (optional) and stir!.
Reduce heat to low and let simmer a couple mins!.
Gradually whisk in the velveeta until all of the cheese is combined with sauce!.

Pour over noodles and stir!. Let stand about 5 mins before serving!.
Yum!

I usually BAKE mine for about 25 mins on 350!.
If you do bake yours, undercook the pasta a little!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

An easy fix is to buy the boxed-style of Velveeta/Kraft mac and cheese that comes with the cheesy pouch of liquid cheese!. Cook per the instructions, but add crumbled, cooked bacon, crab or lobster meat chunked up small and fresh grated cheddar cheese to the top!. Or, to go au natural, get bow-tie pasta, cook al dente!. For the cheese sauce, mix your favorites, but steer clear of mold-cheeses (i!.e!. Feta, blue, stilton, etc!.)!. Ideal for mac are gouda, chevre, babybels, havarti and high-moisture cheddars - shred up as much as you dare, heat over LOW with minimum of 1/2 cup cream or 1/2 and 1/2 and low-fat or skim milk (add more or less milk depending on how runny you like your sauce)!. Add 1 tsp of butter to keep things moving!. Add to pasta immediately after all cheeses have melted!. Yum yum!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
