Can I use the meat from a boiled chicken carcass in soup?!

Question: Can I use the meat from a boiled chicken carcass in soup!?

I froze both on seperate occasions and have boiled them tonight for soup stock!. Can i use the left over meat on the carcass to add to my chicken soup!? Even after its been frozen on it!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Yes thats how you do it for real! Never throw away the bones or broth made from bones!!! Always freeze it for later!. Here is a video to reassure you and show the the basics:

The same with beef bones or rib bones!. Freeze them for later stock or make the stock and freeze it!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Definitely!

Whenever we have turkey (thanksgiving or any other time of the year) or roasted chickens, I always make stock with the carcass and leftover meat!.

There are several ways you can make the stock for your soup!. Pulling the meat off the carcass first before boiling it, or boiling it, and letting the meat fall off naturally!. I always pull as much meat off as I can, then I add the carcass to the pot of water to make my stock!. Whatever meat is left over on the carcass will break down and separate into the water anyways!.

The last time I made turkey soup, we had so much meat left over from our turkey that I froze one (1 pound) bag of turkey meat, while I used the rest of the meat for the soup!. The frozen meat I just saved for another round of soup a few months later!. The soup tasted just as good months later with frozen meat!. There was no change in the taste, color, or texture of the meat after it thawed!.

Don't forget to add your favorite veges to the soup too! I always add thick egg noodles for turkey or chicken noodle soup!. Yum!Www@FoodAQ@Com

At the risk of going against the grain, if you have boiled them down to make chicken stock, you have boiled virtually all the flavor out of them!.
The scraps of meat left on the carcass will have the flavor of!.!.!. cardboard!. No, there's not hygeinic reason not to; I can't speak to the nutritional value of such, but the flavor will be nill!.
I think we're verging on false economy here!. I'll bet even your cats will turn up their noses at it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
