Jelly Vs. Jam which is best for me?!
I have hand picked cranberries from the Alaska Bush and was going to make jam with them but I'm not sure what all the recipes are asking me to do when they say, "prepare your boiler!." Do I just boil the jars and then seal them!? I would like to be able to set these on the shelves in glass jars instead of freezing it in plastic containers and isn't that how jelly works!? Any ideas/facts/recipes would be incredibly helpful! Www@FoodAQ@Com

I believe that jelly is made with just the fruit juice while jam is made with crushed fruit!.
