I'm not sure you can use self-rising flour as banana bread doesn't require it!.

Preheat oven to 350 – Microwave 1 cube butter to soften (~ 1 minute)
Mix together:
2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp!. salt
1 tsp!. baking soda
? cup sugar
In separate bowl, mash 3 or 4 bananas!. Add 1 Tbsp!. vinegar plus milk to make ? cup solution, then add to bananas!. Mix in microwaved butter!.
Mix all ingredients, including flour mixture, together & add ? cup walnuts if desired!.

Pour into bread pan & bake 45 min to an hour making sure middle isn’t too gooey!. (I usually double the recipe using 2 pans which extends the cooking time a bit – they’re great to freeze & travel well for hostess gifts!.) Enjoy!
