The other day we had bon fire in the yard, we do live in the country and followed the fire restrictions!. But we had a great big fire ring all rocked in and started the burn, meanwhile we soaked a 5 gallon bucket full of corn on the cob to get it really hydrated, over and hour or more!. Then we added them to the coals and kept turning them!. We also had a little Weber BBQ that we added coals to from the fire and cooked our burgers!. They were delish! The meal was simple, the beer was cold and the full moon was beautiful!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A few boston butt pork roasts cooked on the grill or smoker with some baked beans, corn on the cob, salad and rolls -- that would be easy, economical and filling!.

For a really good hot chocolate recipe, experiment with this:

Make a big pot of chili (for eating alone, or on burgers, nachos, or hot dogs), and some pulled pork!. also some mulled wine and mulled cider - most grocery stores sell the mulling spice mix!.

Both the chili and pulled pork can be made the day before in the crock pot, and left to cook over night!.

Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com
