Cakes are lighter and fluffier, ie: more whipping and more fluid!.

Brownies have less fluid and are basically folded together!. This keeps them dense!.

They have about 1/3 the flour that cake does and use baking powder, where a cake recipe uses baking soda!.

If you search up Chocolate cake recipes and Brownie recipes and do a comparison, you can see the differences!. Just look at the portions not the contents!. Most all of the same things can go in each, but the portions of flour and the rising agent appear the be the main difference!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Chocolate fudge is a confectionery, usually sweet and rich!. It is made using sugar, butter and milk!. Obviously a chocolate fudge brownie cake is a brownie cake, and not a sweet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
