I found a few recipes for vanilla ice cream, used a few ingredients from each to develop my own recipe that everyone raves about!.
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk
1 box (3!.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup heavy cream
Pour into 4 quart ice cream maker and with a whisk stir together well!. Fill to the fill line with whole milk and mix well!.
Freeze according to your ice cream freezer directions!. We have an electric freezer and it takes about 45 minutes!. Once done, we remove the beater, drain off water and pack with ice for about an hour!.
This recipe makes very creamy vanilla ice cream without eggs and without cooking!.
We also save store bought ice cream containers (Blue Bunny's are the best) and store left over homemade ice cream in them!. If the left over ice cream gets a little hard to scoop, we pop the container in the microwave for about 20 seconds to soften up!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
