Answers:
you can't!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. it sucks!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.

the quickest way when in a pinch is to let the pkg of meat sit in a sink filled with tepid water!. I am always on the go and often find myself eating at crazy hours bc I forgot the take the meat out! Www@FoodAQ@Com

Here is how I go about it!.
Use the defrost setting!. Set the oven for a portion of the time!. When that is done let it rest for 10-15 minutes!. Repeat the process for the next portion of the time!.
For example, it takes 16 minutes to defrost 2 lbs of chicken pieces!.
I start with 8 minutes!. Rest 15 minutes!. Then 4 minutes!. Rest 15 minutes!. The last 4 minutes!.
Overall it takes around 46 minutes but never cooks it!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Unfortunately, there is no way in getting the meat or whatever you are defrosting to not cook slightly in the microwave!. The best solution is to be better prepared!. Defrost in the fridge!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Dont cook the meat, but use the defrost regime!. It will defrost the meat evenly!. It should, but it depends on the type of microwave you have!. Honestly I think you will cook a bit or two anyway!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Don't do thatWww@FoodAQ@Com
