Most common blenders will crush ice, but will burn the motor out if used frequently!. I love to make Margaritas and burned the motors out in 2 very good kitchen blenders while trying to perfect my recipe!. After complaining to my local bartender, he suggested purchasing an "industrial" behind the bar blender from a local restaurant supply store!. It only has 4 positions: on, off, high, and low!. This blender has continued to work terrific for the past 4-years!.

Good LuckWww@FoodAQ@Com

almost yes, because there are buttons there and if you ever need to crush ice just push the frappe button or something!.

I'm not being an idiot but it's true we have a blender that crushes ice and we can make all kinds of ice desserts with it!.

Hope I really helpedWww@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, but not all blenders crush ice!.

Generally speaking if it's a cheap blender it will not, if it's higher in price it will!.

It will always state on the packaging whether it crushes ice or not!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes they do, add a little water to it!. The easy way is to do it is wrap the ice in a clean tea towell and smash it up with a rolling pin!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Most modern blenders have an ice-crushing button built in!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes just check before u buy - cheaper ones may not be able to do it or do it badly and you'll burn the motor out quickly!.
