Mess free or ziplock bag campfire meal ideas?!

Question: Mess free or ziplock bag campfire meal ideas!?
I am looking for simple campfire meal ideas!. I do not want a clean up is the main thing!. I want to spend my time playing instead!. S mores are a no brainer as are hot dogs!. Other ideas are roasted dogs with canned biscuit wrapped around resulting in a pig and blanket, and eggs and sausage boiled in a ziplock bag and placed in a hot dog bun (yummy)!. But we are going to be doing it for a few days and half the fun is cooking and none is in clean up!. I would love extra ziplock ideas!. Thanks! So please no complex meals or heavy cleanups!. Campfire Banana Splits

INGREDIENTS
6 large bananas, unpeeled, stems removed
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 (10!.5 ounce) package miniature marshmallows

DIRECTIONS
Preheat the grill for high heat!.
Spray 4 sheets of aluminum foil, large enough to wrap bananas, with cooking spray!.
Slice the peel of the banana from stem to bottom, while slicing the banana inside lengthwise!. The bananas can be cut into slices instead if you like, (while still in the peel) for easier handling later!.
Carefully open the banana just wide enough to place the chocolate chips and marshmallows inside the peel with the banana!. Stuff with as much of the chocolate chips and marshmallows as desired!.
Wrap the bananas with the aluminum foil and place on the grill or directly in the coals of a fire!. Leave in long enough to melt the chips and the marshmallows, about 5 minutes!. Unwrap bananas, open the peels wide, and eat with a spoon!.

Campfire Foil Packs
"These are easy to make for camping, my husband loves them! We prepare them at home and then leave them in the cooler until we are ready to cook!. You can use any combination of meat and vegetables that you like!. Do not try to use less olive oil or foil or your dinner will burn!. Be careful when opening foil as steam will have formed inside and can burn you!."

INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast meat - cubed
2 onions, diced
1 (8 ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms
1 yellow bell pepper, seeded and sliced into strips
1 red bell pepper, seeded and sliced into strips

Have you considered precooking a couple of meals, like stews, or pasta and sauce, and taking them in the zip locks for one or two meals
Not exactly `campfire`` cooking, but might save a bit of mess the first couple of meals!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

sandwiches, pre-made burros in tinfoil and heat up next to campfire, even cold pizza would workWww@FoodAQ@Com

Grill Potatoes in Foil

1 potato
2 slices onions
2 teaspoons butter
aluminum foil (I prefer the heavy duty kind)

Make one per person, leave out onion for kiddies who are picky eaters!.

Russet potatoes work best!.

get a piece of foil about 12 inches square!.

Cut potato into 3 equal parts!.

place a slice of onion and a slice of butter between the slices of potato!.

roll in foil and seal the ends!.

place on grill or charcoal for about 45 minutes or until soft, turning once!.

serve with butter and sour cream!.

Campfire Baked Apples

6 apples, large, solid cooking types
6 tablespoons butter
6 teaspoons sugar
3 teaspoons cinnamon

You'll need 12 sheets of aluminum foil, each about 10 inches long!. If using a campfire, move back large burning embers to expose hot coals -- oak coals are best!.

Prepare each apple by first cutting a top-shaped "plug" out of the stem-end with a sharp paring knife!. Keep the plugs to re-insert later!. Leave the stems on if you wish!.

Use a butter knife or the paring knife to carve out all of the core and seeds!. This is the trickiest part!. Do not go through the bottom of the apple but if you do, it's no big deal!.

Into each apple insert 1 tablespoon of the butter, 1 teaspoon of sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon!. That should pretty much fill the void!. Then, re-insert the top plug and double-wrap each apple in aluminum foil!. (Some folks rub the outside of the apple with butter but I never bother to do this)!.

Lay the apples on the coals and, after 5 minutes, roll them over so that the second side can bake!. Roll them out of the coals after 10 minutes, let them cool for a bit and serve!.

You can make sort of a primitive bowl out of the aluminum foil wrappers and eat the apples with a spoon!.

TIP: Don't puncture the aluminum foil with a fork to turn the apples because all your butter will leak out! Use a pair of tongs if you have a big pair!.
