Answers:
Chocolate dipped strawberries (or any other fruit, for that matter) are not difficult to make (I even frequently make them on camping trips)!. There are, however a few points to keep in mind in order to insure success!. First, make sure the fruit is completely dry!. Even a drop of water in the melted chocolate can cause it to "seize" and turn the entire mixture into a grainy mess!. It is also necessary to temper the chocolate, which really isn't difficult, especially if you have a candy thermometer!.?
Ingredients: 8 ounces quality chocolate or white chocolate
about 12 - 14 large strawberries
Instructions: Makes about 12 large strawberries

Melt and temper chocolate over a double boiler!. Dip fresh strawberries in the melted chocolate until three quarters covered!. Put berries on a sheet of waxed paper to cool, or alternatively, place one berry each in paper candy cups!. Let set until chocolate hardens!. You can hasten the process by placing the dipped berries in the refrigerator for a few minutes!.

Well, you can't really make it a permanent liquid, however you can melt the chocolate down and break the temper on it, just get it to above 198 degrees Fahrenheit!. The chocolate will still solidify, but it will melt at a MUCH lower temperature!.

If you want to dip the strawberries before hand and let the chocolate harden, use a candy thermometer and melt the chocolate, but DO NOT let it get over 186 degrees, dip strawberries, allow to cool or store in a fridge, eat and enjoy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

In my chocolate fountain, it suggests for every 5 pounds of chocolate, to add 2 tablespoons of oil!. Keep in mind, that's for the fountain and that is continuously moving!. Your want to melt it and have it stay melted for a mini-trip!. I don't know if the oil would work in this case, but if nobody else comes up with a suggestion, you can give it a try!. Good luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can make your fondue, by bringing 1/2 pt of heavy cream to the point just before it starts to simmer - be careful, because the bottom can burn easily!. Then pour the hot cream over 1!.5 bags of GOOD chocolate chips (I use 1 bag of Ghirardelli milk, and 1/2 bag of Ghirardelli 60% dark)!. Add a pinch of salt and stir till it's smooth and creamy!. Add about 1 t of good vanilla and you're good to go!.

For your picnic, you'll need a chocolate fondue pot (uses a tea candle to keep everything warm)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Im not sure how you can get it melted and take strawberries to dip in the choc there!. I know you can go to a grocery store and buy this choc that is made for dipping!. You can melt it and dip your strawberries at home and the choc will harden on the berries and you can take it like that!.!.!.!?!? Hope this helps at least a bit :-)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well what i do is, melt the chocolate, then add a bit of olive oil, bit by bit, until you get the correct consistency!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can also buy containers of dipping chocolate over but the fruits in almost any grocery store!. Its usually a red container, and its easy to melt!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The type of chocolate you're looking for is called "almond bark"
You'll still have to melt it, but it will stay melty longer than say melting a hershey bar!. It's really good too!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Heat chocolate in a double boiler and add a little cream until desired thinness!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
