This is definitely unique and I have been telling everyone about it when I see them in the store but I doubt very seriously if very many people have tried it!.

- 1 cake mix (your flavor but let's use chocolate for this recipe)
- 1 small package Cook & Serve Pudding (again your flavor but I generally use either chocolate pudding or coconut cream pudding - and it HAS to be Cook & Serve - it CAN'T be instant)
- The milk called for on the pudding box
1/2 c mini chocolate morsels
1/2 c chopped nuts

Cook the Cook & Serve pudding and once it is boiling and thickened, immediately pour it into the dry cake mix and stir well!. It will start to swell - that's what it does!. Pour it into a sprayed cake pan and sprinkle on the mini chocolate morsels and then the chopped nuts!.

There is no oil, water or eggs in this recipe - it's just the dry cake mix and the pudding!.

Bake in a preheated 350o oven for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean!. You will see some of the chocolate sticking to the toothpick so be sure you don't overcook the cake!.

The chocolate melts and makes the frosting!. It is like a cross between a chocolate cake and a brownie but it's very moist!.

You can also try it with yellow cake mix and lemon Cook & Serve pudding or any of the cream puddings - coconut cream, banana cream, etc!. You can put Cool Whip on the top instead of the chocolate after it has cooled or even mix Cool Whip with instant pudding and make that the topping once it's cooled!.

Decadent Brownies:

4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
4 large eggs
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour, sifted

Frosting:
4 ounces (4 squares) unsweetened chocolate
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
1/2 cup pasteurized egg substitute (recommended: Egg Beaters)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (1-pound) box confectioners' sugar, sifted
4 cups mini marshmallows

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F!. Grease a 13 by 9-inch baking pan!.

Melt the chocolate and butter in a 2-quart bowl in the microwave on high for 3 minutes, stirring every 20 to 30 seconds until the chocolate is completely melted!. Add the eggs, sugar, and vanilla and mix well with a spatula!. Add the flour and stir to combine!. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan!. Bake for 25 minutes!.

While the brownies are baking, make the frosting!. Melt the chocolate and butter in a medium bowl in the microwave on high for 3 minutes stirring every 20 to 30 seconds until the chocolate is completely melted!. Add the egg substitute, vanilla, and sugar and stir with a spoon until smooth!. Stir in the marshmallows; they will soften but not melt completely!. Spread the frosting over the warm brownies!. The frosting will set up when the brownies are completely cooled!. When cool, cut into 1 1/2-inch squares and store in the refrigerator in a plastic container with a snap-on lid!.

If you want to make a cake taste awesome and super moist, add a cup of sour cream!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
