Answers:
You need to refrigerate it about 3 hours or so to gel!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

gelatin is a reversible thermosetting protein!. The length of time it takes to set is dependent on the starting temperature and the ambient temperature of the room!. If the room is too warm the gel will never set or be nearly fluid at best!.

After it sets it can be kept out of the refrigerator for some time again depending on the room temperature!. If the room is too warm it will reverse again but the good news is you can chill it and it will reset!. If you asking about when it will spoil, generally gelatin will mold eventually and that will accelerate at room temperature!. Nevertheless mold takes a long time to grow!.

They used to print on the box a way to make it set quicker by adding ice cubes as part of the water!.!.!.it will take a few hours!. Once it has set and you take it out and keep it out of the fridge, it will get soft again, but it won't go all the way back to a liquid!. Maybe put it in a bowl set inside a bowl of ice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
