RECIPE: http://www!.nikibone!.com/recipe/crockpot/!.!.!.

It says, "1 1/2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms!." Is it asking for one and a half cups of mushrooms or just 1/2 cup of mushrooms!? If you read the recipe, it doesn't look very clear!.!.!.at least to me, it doesn't!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I read recipes regularly, and I'm pretty sure it is one and a half cups mushrooms :) When you think about softened and cooked-down mushrooms in proportion to all of the other ingredients, a measly half cup of COOKED mushrooms would barely be noticeable in that particular crock pot recipe!. The author should have used dashes and decimals!. This is how I read it:

1- 28 oz!. can diced tomatoes
1- 14!.5 oz!. can low sodium beef broth
1!.5 cups sliced fresh mushrooms

Sounds like a winning recipe!Www@FoodAQ@Com

When you get better, you will be able to make a choice like just grab a bunch and toss em in, you never stop learning, give a man a fish, he will eat for a day, teach a man to fish, he will eat for a life timeWww@FoodAQ@Com

It means one and a half cups of mushrooms!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

CupS indicates more than a cup, so I'd say one and a half cups, enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com
