When slow-roasting tomatoes, should I leave the oven door open a bit?!

Question: When slow-roasting tomatoes, should I leave the oven door open a bit!?
I have the oven on at 225 degrees , I have looked at many web-pages, and they don't say if the door is open or closed!. I am wondering if they would dry out a bit more with the oven door open a smidge!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Leave the door closed!.

The only time you leave the oven door partially open is when you're using the broiler in an electric oven!. Otherwise, you won't have your 225 heat and the unit will keep trying to get it back up to 225 and just cost you more!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Um, I really don't think it's safe to keep the oven door open while cooking something!.!.!. I never heard of someone doing that before!.

It doesn't say if you should keep it open or closed because they assume you already close the oven door!. =PWww@FoodAQ@Com

leave the oven door closed!.!.!. Low heat for a long time, about an hour or so!. Keep an eye on it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
