How do I keep maggots from getting into my dogs food?!

Question: How do I keep maggots from getting into my dogs food!?
Answers:
Get dry food and keep it next to your washing machine or something!.!.!. Dry food is better for your dog and more convenient for you anywayWww@FoodAQ@Com

Use dry food

Even if you don't switch to dry, give your dog just enough to finish at one sitting!. Adult dogs only eat once per day!. If there is some in there when you go to feed the dog again, pitch it and give less that time!. Keep giving less until you figure out the perfect quantity!. But dry food, if it sits more thana day, will still be ok!. Your dog will probably revolt and go hungry a day or two waiting on canned food, but ifyou don't cave in, he'll eat it eventually!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

keep flies off it! It is the flies that lay the eggs that grow into maggots!. How long are you leaving the food out for this to happen!? Just put out enough food for your dog to eat, when he has eaten remove and wash the dish - no flies- no maggots!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If its wet dog food, keep it in the fridge!. If its dry dog food, keep the bag closed and in a dry and cool place!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

wash the bowl after every feed!. Offer bowl and if dog doesnt want it take it away and cover up and give later - dont leave it out for flies as its meant for the dog!Www@FoodAQ@Com
