1/4 cup raisins
1 tablespoon Watkins Apple Bake
4 teaspoons Watkins Cinnamon
2 pks (11 oz) refrigerated dinner rolls
4 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted

2-3 teaspoons milk
Preheat oven to 375F!. For bread, combine apples, raisins and Watkins Apple Bake Seasoning in a small bowl; mix lightly!. In a separate bowl, combine Watkins Cinnamon & sugar!. Unroll dough; separate into 16 rolls!. Using kitchen shears, cut each roll into quarters!. Place half of the dough pieces and half of the butter in batter bowl; toss gently!. Sprinkle with half of the sugar mixture; toss to coat evenly!. Place dough pieces in loaf pan to cover bottom of pan; sprinkle with half of the apple/raisin mixture!. Repeat layers!. Bake 40-45 minutes or until lightly brown; cool in pan 15 minutes!. Loosen bread from edges of pan; remove to cooling rack!. For glaze, combine powdered sugar and milk in small bowl; drizzle over warm loaf!.

1/4 cup plus 1 1/2 teaspoons shortening
3 cups self-rising flour
1 cup milk
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup raisins, optional

1 1/4 cups sifted powdered sugar
3 tablespoons milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
Cut shortening into flour with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal!. Add 1 cup milk, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened!. Turn dough out onto a floured surface; knead lightly!.Roll dough into a 20x14-inch rectangle; spread the softened butter on dough, leaving a border of about 1/2-inch!. Combine sugar and cinnamon; mix well, and sprinkle over butter!. Top with the chopped pecans and raisins, if using!. Beginning at long side, roll up jelly roll fashion; press edges and ends together securely!. Cut into 1 inch slices; place cut side down in a buttered 13x9x2-inch baking pan!. Bake at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes!.Combine powdered sugar and 3 tablespoon milk and vanilla; drizzle over warm rolls!. Makes 20 cinnamon rolls!.
******Orange-Cinnamon Hot Chocolate
2 cups dry hot chocolate mix
rind of 1 orange, peeled in long strips about 1/2 inch wide
1 t ground cinnamon
1 large cinnamon stick, whole
Dry the orange , and break into lengths about 2 or 3 inches!. Mix with the hot chocolate and cinnamon, and store in an airtight jar!. Let sit 2 weeks or more to let the orange flavour come through!.
-------Note: to dry orange peel, place on cookie sheet in a toaster oven at about 200 degress for an hour or more!. You'll know it's really dry if it snaps!. Note that packaged orange peel does not work for this recipe

*****Warm and Nutty Cinnamon Quinoa
1 cup organic 1% low fat milk
1 cup water
1 cup organic quinoa, (hs note: rinse quinoa)
2 cups fresh blackberries, organic preferred
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/3 cup chopped pecans, toasted*
4 teaspoons organic agave nectar, such as Madhava brand
Combine milk, water and quinoa in a medium saucepan!. Bring to a boil over high heat!. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and simmer 15 minutes or until most of the liquid is absorbed!. Turn off heat; let stand covered 5 minutes!. Stir in blackberries and cinnamon; transfer to four bowls and top with pecans!. Drizzle 1 teaspoon agave nectar over each serving!.Serves 4!.
----NOTE-----While the quinoa cooks, roast the pecans in a 350F degree toaster oven for 5 to 6 minutes or in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 3 minutes!.
*****Orange Cinnamon Chicken
3-4 lb chicken cut into serving pieces
1 cup chicken broth, homemade or canned
1/4 lb butter
2 cups orange juice
1 cup raisins (I used sultanas)
salt and fresh black pepper to taste
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2 Tbs flour
Heat butter in large skillet, and brown chicken!. Remove chicken pieces to slow cooker as they brown!. Combine all other ingredients, except flour, mix well and pour over chicken!. Cover pot, turn on LOW and cook 4-6 hours, or until chicken is tender!. Remove 1 cup of sauce from the pot and combine with flour, mixing well!. Return sauce - flour mixture to pot!. Turn pot on HIGH, and cook additional half hour!.

Ingredients:
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/8 teaspoon each ground allspice, cinnamon and nutmeg
1 whole wheat pita bread, cut in half
1/2 medium apple, thinly sliced
1/2 medium firm banana, sliced

Directions:
In a small bowl, blend the peanut butter, allspice, cinnamon and nutmeg!. Spread inside pita bread halves; fill with apple and banana slices!. Yield: 2 servings!.

Cinnamon Bread

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 1/4 cups sugar, divided 1 cup buttermilk
1 egg
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
DIRECTIONS:
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt!. In a small bowl, combine oil and 1-1/2 cups sugar!. Add buttermilk and eggs; mix well!. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened!. Fill a greased 8-in!. x 4-in!. x 2-in!. loaf pans about one-third full!.

Combine cinnamon and remaining sugar; sprinkle half over the batter!. Top with remaining batter and cinnamon-sugar!. Swirl batter with a knife!. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean!. Cool in pans for 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack!.






Cinnamon Raisin Bread
? 1 1/2 cups warm water
? 2 tablespoons milk
? 2 tablespoons shortening
? 1 teaspoon salt
? 4 cups bread flour
? 2 teaspoons cinnamon
? 3 tablespoons white sugar
? 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
? 1 cup raisins
? 2 tablespoons butter, softened
? 2 tablespoons brown sugar
? 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
? 1 tablespoon butter, melted


Place water, milk, shortening, salt, flour, cinnamon, sugar and yeast in bowl and mix together, add raisins , knead it is until soft and springy!.
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and roll out into a rectangle!. Spread dough with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon!. Roll dough, and divide into two parts!. Place loaves in two lightly greased 9x5 inch bread pans!. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour!.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees!.
Brush tops of risen loaves with melted butter and bake in preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes, until crust is brown and loaves sound hollow when tapped!.

2 cups white flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 tbs baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter
2/3 cup milk
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 400F!. Blend together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt!. Cut in butter!. Mix milk, egg and vanilla in another mixing bowl!. Add to the flour mixture, and stir until just moist!. Shape dough into an 8-inch round loaf!. cut into 8 wedges and separate slightly!. Bake for 15-20 minutes!.

Chewy Sticky Cinnamon Sticks
Dough
1 ? cups warm water
1 Tbsp!. instant yeast
2 eggs (6 tablespoons mayonnaise)
? cup sugar
? cup unsalted butter, softened
1 tsp!. vanilla extract
1/3 cup nonfat dry milk
1 tsp!. salt
? tsp!. cinnamon
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 to 3 cups bread flour

Filling
4 Tbsp!. unsalted butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 tsp!. cinnamon
2 cups raisins, plumped and patted dry
1 egg white, beaten until foamy


Dough
Hand whisk the water and yeast together in the bowl of an electric mixer and let stand for 2 to 3 minutes for the yeast to dissolve!. Whisk in the eggs, sugar, butter, vanilla, dry milk, salt, cinnamon, all purpose flour and 2 cups of the bread flour to make a thick dough!. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 8 to 10 minutes, gradually adding more bread flour as required to form a soft, elastic dough!. Form the dough into a ball and place in a lightly greased bowl!. Place the bowl inside of a large plastic bag, close the bag loosely and let the dough rise for about 45 minutes, or until almost doubled in size!. Gently deflate the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes!. Preheat the oven to 375!. On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough out to a 20 by 10 inch rectangle!. Spread the butter over the dough, then sprinkle it with the cinnamon, sugar, and raisins!. Starting from a short side, roll up the dough into a log and flatten it gently!. Cut into 12 equal slices and place them on 2 baking sheets stacked together with parchment paper on the top sheet!. Brush with the egg white and then sprinkle them with sugar, then twist!. Let rise for 15 minutes!. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes!.





Cinnamon Bun Coffee Cake

2 cups flour
1 1/4 cups sugar (add in more for a sweeter taste)
1 1/4 cups milk or half-and-half
1-2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 pinch salt
1 large egg

TOPPING
1/2 cup brown sugar, more if desired
1-2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 cup melted butter

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F!.
Prepare a greased 13 x 9-inch baking dish, or TWO 8 or 9-inch round cake pans (although the batter will seem like it will fit into only one 8 or 9-inch pan, this flop rises very high and will run over the sides if baked in just one pan)!.
In a bowl mix the 2 cups flour, 1-1/4 cups white sugar, milk, vanilla extract, baking powder, pinch of salt and egg until just combined careful not to overmix!. Pour into prepared baking pan/s!.
Generously spread brown sugar and cinnamon on top!.

French Toast! That's the first one that comes to mine!. Dip your regular white bread in a beaten egg (usually 2 will work for 4-6 slices), place on buttered skillet, sprinkle cinnamon on both side while cooking!.!. So good I think I might make some myself tomorrow for breakfastWww@FoodAQ@Com
