Question: How do i put sauce on a pizza!? (without it soaking the dough)!?
When i make my home made pizza's, the pizza dough seems to absorb the BBQ sauce i put on top, making the doug soggy and losing the layer of sauce!. How do i stop this happening!?

i usually make the dough, put the sauce and cheese on and then the ham on top, before putting it in the oven!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

What I do - I make my own pizza crust - is to bake the pizza crust without any filling on it for 5 minutes - this creates a seal on the crust and keeps everything from soaking through and making the crust soggy!. So do 5 minutes at 400o and then put your tops on!.

Hope that helps!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Brush the dough with olive oil to waterproof it!.

also makes it taste wonderful!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You're putting way too much sauce on then!. Just brush a light layer on and it should be fine!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
