What can I make with chorizo?!
I bought some chorizo to try but not sure how to cook it!. Anyone know a good recipe I could use it in!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Chorizo Tacos
1 pound chorizo, removed from the casings and crumbled
1/2 cup chopped yellow onions
1 teaspoon garlic
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
8 corn tortillas
Optional additional fillings/accompaniments:
Pico de Gallo
Guacamole
Roasted corn kernels
Grated peppered Monterey Jack or Mexican queso blanco
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat!. Add the sausage and cook until brown and the fat is rendered, about 5 minutes!. Add the onions and cook until soft, about 3 minutes!. Add the garlic and cook 30 seconds!. Remove from the heat and stir in the cilantro!.
Over a hot grill or in a clean skillet over high heat, heat the tortillas until warmed through and pliable!. Divide the sausage filling among the warm tortillas and serve with desired accompaniments!.

1 cup uncooked rice
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 1/2 to 2 cups tomato juice
1/2 cup sliced chorizo
1/2 cup sliced sautéed mushrooms
In a large skillet over medium low heat, cook onions in oil for 2 to 3 minutes; add remaining ingredients (1 cup of the tomato juice) and bring to a boil!. Cover and simmer 20 to 25 minutes, checking often and adding more tomato juice as necessary!.

1/2 cup good quality red wine
1 cup prepared tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
salt & pepper to taste
In a heavy skillet put the oil and all the vegetables and saute for a few min!. add the sausage and continue a little more,deglaze with the wine add tomato sauce and water,cook foe 10 min!. and you are ready to have something very delicious!.
This a traditional Greek recipe and it's called "Spetsofai" we love it with nice bread or rice and it's a complete meal!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you mean the little dry smoked ones, they are very good added to Arroz con Pollo (Goya has a recipe / video on their website), or you can simply include them as a litlte snack on a tray of fresh (blanched) vegetables with a cheese dip and galletas (Spanish crackers) xxxWww@FoodAQ@Com
