In a great stir fry, such as the recipe listed below!.

STIR - FRY CHICKEN WITH GARLIC SAUCE

2 lg!. garlic cloves, minced
1/4 c!. soy sauce
1/4 c!. water
1/4 c!. honey
2 tbsp!. vegetable oil, divided
1 tbsp!. cornstarch
1 lb!. boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into strips
1/4 c!. chopped green onions

Combine garlic, soy sauce, water, honey, 1 tablespoon oil, cornstarch and pepper!. Stir chicken into marinade and mix to coat!. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours, stirring once to twice!.

In large skillet, heat remaining oil!. Using slotted spoon, transfer chicken to skillet!. Stir-fry about 5 minutes!. Add reserved marinade; continue to cook and stir about 30 seconds until thickened!. Remove to platter!. Garnish with green onion!. Serve with snow peas, if desired!.

4 servings!.

I like to use soy sauce in my vegetable and chicken stir fry!. As the sauce, I take low sodium chicken stock, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, and a bit of corn starch (to thicken) and mix it together in a sauce pan over low heat!. Then I add the vegetables and chicken and cook it up!Www@FoodAQ@Com

This might sound a bit weird but I use soy sauce in my gravy and all my chinese dishes I make!. I find it gives the gravy a much better taste, been doing it for years!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
