Question: Simple Pan sauce for NY Stip Steak!?
I am pan frying a NY strip steak for dinner tonight and I want to make a simple pan sauce after the steak is cooked!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
After the steak is cooked, remove it from the pan!. Add about 2 tablespoons of butter and melt that, while scraping off all those good bits from the bottom of the pan!. This is a good sauce just as it is!. If you like it spicier, add 1 tablespoon of worcestershire sauce, splash of red wine, red pepper flakes -- just whatever sounds good to you!. Enjoy your steak!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try this:

1/2 cup thinly sliced fresh mushrooms
2 tbsp minced onion
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 tbsp fresh snipped parsley or 1 tsp dried

Melt butter in skillet over medium heat!. Stir in mushrooms, onion, garlic, salt, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce and cook until mushrooms are tender!. Stir in parsley before serving!.

Deglaze with abit of red wine, cook it down to almost nothing ad some dijon mustard, worchestershire sauce, chopped herbs or parsley and a knob of butter, take it off the heat and shake the pan, until the butter melts and pour it over the warm steak!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
