You can make a gourmet dinner in a closet, if you know what you are doing, and have the right tools!. The fact that your mother has failed to prepare you for life away from home is reflected in your belief that only a large kitchen can make a large meal!.
Go to a used book store and look for a cook book, preferably one from Betty Crocker, on how to cook with a micro-wave oven!.
Things you will need for a small kitchen are;
1!.Micro-wave oven
2!.Toaster oven
3!.Food processor
4!.Hand mixer
5!.Set of kitchen knives
6!.Set of kitchen utensils
7!.Set of bake ware that can go in oven or micro-wave
8!.Set of cookware
a!.1qt pan
b!.2qt pan
c!.4qt pan
d!.10 inch skillet
e!.12 inch skillet
9!.Place settings for
Beer glasses, wine glasses, water tumblers, ect!.
With all this, you can make almost anything your mom can!. Since you are not transferring till next year, I suggest you ask her to teach you now!.
Start with breakfast!. Eggs are easy!. Move on to salads and soups for lunch!. Then tackle dinners!. Start with pasta dishes!. The term "babies first dinner" should come to mind!. It's spaggetti!. You can make you're sauce from scratch later, get canned for now!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
