***CARAMEL SAUCE***
1/2 cup brown sugar -- packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup whipping cream
1 tablespoon butter
Combine brown sugar, sugar and whipping cream in medium saucepan!. Bring to boil!. Cook and stir, about 2 minutes!.
Remove from heat!. Stir in butter until melted!. Cool!. Then drizzle over cake
Chocolate Sauce
6 (1 ounce) squares semisweet chocolate
1/4 cup butter
3/4 cup sifted confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Melt chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring as the chocolate melts!. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, water and vanilla extract!. Serve warm!.
: This sauce can be made ahead and heated just before serving!. You may need to add a bit more water to get to your desired consistency!. This sauce is also good on ice cream!
Lemon Glaze:
Juice of 1 lemon
1 cup Confectioners’ sugar
In a small bowl, combine lemon juice and confectioners’ sugar until smooth!. Brush over warm cake!. (The glaze will be thin and absorbed into cake!.)
Just about anything you want to drizzle on it!. Fruit is also niceWww@FoodAQ@Com

I like to buy frozen stawberries (they're in a small box in the frozen food section), thaw them out just a bit, pour some over a slice of pound cake and top with some whipped topping!. The frozen stawberries usually have a bit of sugar in them and when thawed, the chunks of strawberries are in a sweet syrup!. Tastes like strawberry shortcake!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Here's my favorite!. Heat up a can of cherry pie filling on the stove, and add about 1/4 cup brandy and a splash or two of water!. Let that cook for a few minutes, then add a teensy splash of almond extract!. Cook down a few more minutes until thickened and serve hot over grilled pound cake!Www@FoodAQ@Com
You could do so many things! All depends on what you have available!. Instead of a topping you could slice the pound cake in half from the side and add a filling layer!. Fresh fruits, nuts, cream, maple syrup, coffee, the list could go on for a topping!. Mainly you'll need sugar!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I'm not sure how to make the glaze but have always liked just taking white icing and slowly put it over the top of the Pound cake while it is still warm so it kind of melts down the sides, its good like that at least i think so hope this helps TinaWww@FoodAQ@Com
