I made a nice soup this morning, it consisted of 1 GOLDEN VEGETABLE sachet, made as normal, placing the contents into a mug and pouring boiled water over and stirring!. I then went one step further adding, some sprinkles of 'PAPRIKA' (powdered red peppers), 'GARLIC SALT' (from the grinding jar) 5 drops of 'TABASCO SAUCE',a splosh of 'SOY SAUCE' and your ordinary run of the mill 'WHITE GROUND PEPPER' (five taps), stir it well in!. What are really fun cooking projects with young children are making dishes that "look like" something!. There are plenty of cookbooks, some of my favorites from the 1950's and 1960's, which are geared to just these sorts of recipes!.!.!.such as Betty Crocker's Cookbook for Boys and Girls!. There are simple recipes such as the one that turns ordinary canned pears, raisins, lettuce, a miniature marshmallow, and some carrot sticks into a bunny! Everybody knows "Ants on a Log" (celery with peanut butter and raisins)!.!.!.there are some really fun things to make and easy enough for little hands!. Oh, I have also found some of these simple ideas in the pages of "Highlights" magazine!. I still get my children's cookbooks out and make these treats for myself!Www@FoodAQ@Com
