Sir Keith
Sourdough bread, sliced
Cream cheese (for spreading)
Orange marmalade
1 egg per person
1 cup milk per baking dish needed
shake of cinnamon
1 tsp!. vanilla
Sauce:
1 lb!. butter
1 lb!. cream cheese
2 lbs!. powdered sugar
2 whole oranges
orange juice
Make a sandwich, on sourdough bread, of cream cheese and orange marmalade!. Place in a 'pammed' baking dish!. (Normal casserole dish can hold up to 7-8 sandwiches)!. Add 1 egg per person, plus 1 cup of milk per baking dish and beat together with a shake of cinnamon and 1 tsp!. of vanilla!. Pour mixture over sandwiches and let stand a few minutes!. Turn sandwiches over and cover with plastic wrap!. Refrigerate overnight!. Turn sandwiches over again in AM!. Bake at 350 for 1 hour!. Serve with sauce!.
Sauce:
Combine butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar!. Process 2 whole oranges and add to sugar mixture!. Add enough orange juice to bring to consistency of sour cream!. Heat before serving!. Can be frozen for weeks!.
